Sometimes I feel we’re not supposed to talk about weight loss when we’re talking about a paleo diet. It’s sort of a word that’s “verboten”. We talk about health, strength, real foods and then we say that weight loss is a by-product of an efficient, working, healthy body.
Which is true, but it kind of skirts the issue.
The thing is, most people go paleo to lose weight. The number of visitors to this website and all others paleo will soar during the first few months of 2015 because they want to lose weight.
So let’s not ignore that fact.
Stephani Ruper hasn’t. In fact, she’s embraced it. And I’m glad she has.
Stephani is the sassy badass behind Paleo for Women. She’s addressed body image, polycystic ovarian syndrome, sexuality, all from a woman’s perspective.
And now she’s addressing weight loss.
The reason I like Stephani is…
…She gets it.
She understands women are not men. (I know, earth shattering, right?)
She understands that most advice out there works for men not women.
She knows that women are more physiologically more complex than men.
And she recognizes that we need to work with those complexities to help us achieve our health and weight loss goals.
She’s brought out a new product called Weight Loss Unlocked.
In it, she delves into hormonal complexities to get to the root of what we can do to make our biology work for us and not against us.
It makes for fascinating reading and is unlike anything else out there.
